I have no idea what Jerry Solomon's deal is. He seems to miss the 1950s in a way few people do. If you're into weird outsider music, you will probably like him. Sparse instrumentation with Jerry's shabby weirdo crooning overtop. Most of this album is from 1971, but there are some later extra tracks (the great "Come to the Fair") and the last track has some icky keyboard. Kind of addictive and also extremely irritating at the same time.
You can watch Jerry's cable access talk show on youtube if you want to be really uncomfortable.
There are a couple of song titles missing on this one, but there are some songs that aren't on the other blog postings of this album. If you have any other Jerry Solomon albums/singles to share, contact me...
Denied of All Human Life
I've had this blog for over a year and am just getting around to posting something. Hopefully there will be more obscure outsider gunk and other stuff soon.
