Julius Hemphill
Julius Hemphill was an amazing sax player who never really got his dues. In my house, he's best known for the massive free jazz of "Dogon AD" and for playing on K. Curtis Lyle's "The Collected Poems For Blind Lemon Jefferson". This isn't actually Julius playing, but a posthumous recording of his music, some impressive compositions for saxophone quartet.
